Fenugreek tea has traditionally been used to provide relief from gastrointestinal tract problems, and may help to improve appetite, ease upset stomach, indigestion, gas, diarrhea, constipation, peptic ulcer and inflammatory bowel disease. It is known to be an effective remedy against heartburn or acid reflux.
Fenugreek may help lower blood levels of cholesterol. It may also help lower blood sugar levels for those with Type 2 diabetes.
Fenugreek is also known to help stimulate milk production in breastfeeding women. Fenugreek stimulates uterine contractions and can help induce childbirth. However, pregnant women should only use this remedy for inducing labor after consultation with their doctor.
Fenugreek has also traditionally been used as an effective topical treatment for skin problems such as abscesses, boils, burns and eczema. Fenugreek has been known to help reduce fever when taken with lemon and honey.

  • BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
    Put 1 to 2 teaspoons of loose herbs per 6 to 8 oz of boiling water. cover tightly and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. For a more "medicinal" effect, steep 15 to 30 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
