Iron Goddess is a legendary premium variety of Chinese Oolong Tea that originated in the 19th century in Anxi, Fujian province. Named after the Chinese Goddess of Mercy, this is one of the most revered and well sought after type of tea in China.

The processing of Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea is complex and requires expertise and has to be done skillfully for its true character to be shown. This fine blend produces a delightfully fresh floral taste and aroma, with notes of toasted walnut and tender collard greens.     Brewing Instructions
    Traditional Chinese brew method: Infuse one heaped spoonful of tea leaves per 250 ml at 90°C. The same leaves can be reused up to 5 times. For the first 3 brews, steep for only 45 seconds. Drain the tea from the leaves after each brew. Brew time can be increased for the last few brews. Strain and enjoy.

    Keep in an air tight container in a cool, dry place.
