This beautiful tea is a very famous Chinese green tea
produced from the mountainous regions surrounding the scenic Hangzhou West Lake in Zhejiang province. It comprises
young tender tea buds which are handpicked during early
spring time, and meticulously pan-fired using traditional
methods perfected by tea masters over many centuries.

As a result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok, the tea leaves have a distinctive flat and smooth appearance. The pan-firing gives the tea an inviting, toasty aroma, a fresh sweet flavour, a full, nutty texture and semi-sweet after taste. A truly satisfying tea that you always want to keep in stock!
